How Sétra Check works
From AxisVM model to a comfort verification, in a few steps.
Set parameters & walking surface
Choose footbridge class, number of mode shapes and damping, then pick the walking surface and (optionally) the walking path directly inside AxisVM.
Run analysis & review summary
AxisVM runs the modal step, the plugin computes Sétra load cases and you get an at-a-glance summary with overall comfort, peak acceleration, modal frequencies and comfort cases.
Inspect 3D viewer
Explore each case in the built-in 3D viewer, switch between animated mode shape, acceleration in the perception direction and mesh, and adjust the deformation scale.
Export PDF report
Export a compact or complete PDF report with summary, modal analysis, Sétra evaluation, comfort thresholds and all cases, ready for your project documentation.
System Requirements
Sétra Check is a native AxisVM plugin. You need a working AxisVM installation to use it.
AxisVM X8
Tested with AxisVM X8 on Windows 10 and 11. The plugin is installed under the AxisVM Plugins folder.
Windows 10 / 11 (x64)
64-bit Windows. The installer takes care of all the required dependencies.
Online license check
An internet connection is required to validate your license. Calculations themselves run locally on your machine through AxisVM.

A subscription, not a one-off license: updates and support are always included, with no separate maintenance fees like traditional Windows-based software.

Which standard does the plugin implement?

Where do the calculations run?
All modal and dynamic calculations run locally in AxisVM on your machine. Only the license check talks to the OI Wild server.
